Chocolate Magic Shell Ice-Cream Topping
Chocolate Magic Shell Ice-Cream Topping.
Do you remember eating Ice Magic on top of your ice-cream when you were younger? I remember it being quite a treat. Our kids love ice-cream, actually have you ever met a kid that doesn’t? I don’ often buy it though, we usually make it with the over ripe bananas that I’ve thrown in the freezer. I used to be able to hide avocado and peanut butter in the ice cream (or ‘nice cream’), but lately Norah is more into fruit flavours, so I’ve had to get creative with the topping. So here I introduce to you my new Chocolate Magic Shell Ice-Cream Topping.
Super Quick and Easy!
This is honestly the quickest, easiest recipe ever. Chuck a few ingredients into a bowl, give them a quick zap and stir it up. Then spoon it over your favourite ice-cream. This one was raspberry. I simply blitzed frozen raspberries, frozen banana and a tiny amount of milk. This Chocolate Magic Shell Ice-Cream Topping is dairy free, so if you’re lactose intolerant, use a plant based milk for your ice-cream and you’re set!
2 Servings at a time.
This Chocolate Magic Shell Ice-Cream Topping is made with coconut oil, that’s what makes it set as you pour it onto you ice-cream. I’ve decided to only make 2 serves of this topping at a time so that I don’t have to worry about how I’ll store it in the different weather. It’s so quick to make, I usually whip it together while the ice-cream is softening.
Freezes in the Bowl.
Part of the fun of Ice Magic, was scraping it off the bottom of your bowl with you spoon. I’m happy to say that eating this Chocolate Magic Shell Ice cream Topping definitely brought back those memories!
